Wed, 15 September 2004 15:49 solex has LOTS of models. anything stamped into it? the vacuum isn't really for the carb, it's for something that runs off of the carb, like the booster/servo or dizzy advance(nearly usless)or even a wind screen wiper motor. the vacuum advance is really there to RETARD the ignition when the throttle is opened under a load.
