What he said... the live-axle cars are very different to the IRS cars. A swap from one to the other would be very difficult and definitely not worth it.
As Ed mentioned, if you have an IRS Celica (SA63 or RA65 for Aus-delivered versions) it's a direct swap; a few people in the US have done this with no problems.
