nah nah dude thanks
my new gbox had an electric speedo sensor attached to a similar cog+shaft. I am just converting it to match my manual setup.. thing is that my old speedo cog was the wrong number of teeth so I have had to use the cog + shaft that came with the box after removing it from the electric sensor.
The shaft was shorter, but still had the grooves in it for the little metal key (that we made up) to slot in to turn the cable. So all I needed was a longer key.. I hope
(my sensors for the cruise control and stuff are further up the cable)
