Fri, 17 September 2004 04:47 Yeah - the combustion chamber shape of the FE heads is much *much* flatter and shallower than the GE/GTE heads, so I doubt you'll lower the compression by much, if at all - you may even raise it with the GE/GTE pistons. The GE/GTE pistons have a crown shape, whereas the FE pistons are all dish-type. The gudgeon pin diameter should be the same, so they will fit on, but I doubt it'll have the effect that you want.
