without having seen it (Witzl has.. he's testing them), i would say you'd need to cut the wire... the sensor goes into this circuit, and a different wire gives the altered output.
as i said before, i think the greatest benefit will be for those people who are fitting larger injectors (for more boost etc) so they can 'lean out' (relative to large injector and stock mapping) the lower load area of the map.
if you are too stingy to buy a seperate computer, or too tentative to build your own, this could be a good intermediate step. less obvious than having a wolf handcontroller on the dash too
