I know how it feels. I'm going to have an RA23 for sale in the next 6 months or so. But it's probably got too much rust for you. The engine in it at the moment is dead (either cracked the head or block) I'm about to put another one in it this weekend if all goes to plan.
I've got an RA40 for sale with no rust, it's going really cheap but it's an RA40, not as good looking as the TA22 - RA23/8.
From what I've seen is that good ones are few and far between because people do them up but aren't willing to part with them. Would it be better to buy a cheap one and do it up from there if you're willing to spend $6000?
