2TG Custom Intake Manifold

Im thinking about making a custom intake manifold for my 2tg when i convert it to efi
i was wondering if i should start from scratch or if i should use a normal 2tg efi manifold and modify it
(greater air volume, ported runner and large t/b)
starting with the standard manifold would be a heap easier
im just not sure that going with a total custom job would be worth it
any idea's ppl
and rod if you have any info you would share about yours it would be great
