Im thinkin someone must have been sealing something on the tank and applied too much silicon and after along time sitting in fuel it just seperates and then when the pump is operating it sucks it down and gets jammed in the pump, then thats when it starts to make that loud humming noise, cos hardly any fuel is going through it. so id check the pump for anything and if it is, take the crap out then apply a filter before it, that should stop anything else goin through.
cheers.
