Yeah the rattles are a bitch, be prepared to spend countless hours pulling interiors apart screwing back together only to have the same or another noise appear. Alot of noises can be cured by placing a thin layer of foam between the metal and the interior panel (plus added sound proofing). the metal push plugs similar to that used in early door trims wear through the plastic inserts that can be easily replaced with new inserts. If it rattles it, or somthing holding, screwed, glued to it is worn out and needs renewing, not necessarily removal. Over time the bigger rattles can be eliminated and you can sort through the smaller less annoying noises. And those pesky noises that only appear at 3500rpm and driving at 110km/h that just s#@t me [Report message to a moderator]
