Tue, 21 September 2004 08:36 In the last two double demerit point weekends we have had i have been let off twice by the cops. the first one was when i came round a corner into a one way street and gave it a bit. got to 70 in a 60 zone and as i go past a side street i see a cop pull out and the lights go on so i pull over. one officer asks to see my lisense and the other walks around looking at my car. as one goes back to the car to check my lisense the other cop gets me to start my car cause of my exhaust. in the end i got told to be more carefull when it is double demerits and got let off. the next time i was turning left into a street then wanted to turn right straight away. i go off a bit quick and as i turn left i get wheelspin into second. i look back and see some cops and the lights go on so i pull over. same thing happens bout the exhaust and my lisense but again i get let off with a warning. as you can expect i have now had the exhaust checked and it is right on the limit. i now have real respect for cops cause as long as you arent a dickhead to them they can be quite reasonable. BTW at the time i was on my red P's and the car i own is a ta22 with extractors, 2inch exhaust with single hot dog and 4 inch canon [Updated on: Tue, 21 September 2004 08:37] [Report message to a moderator]
