Seamus wrote on Fri, 24 September 2004 08:25 | Well, I was rather bored when I posted. You're right, dumb question. Whether you're aware of it or not, you Aussies and Kiwis have a reputation in North America for interesting swaps with much much power.
Has anyone down there tried using a 1ZZGE or 2ZZGE engine in an AE86? Either of those seem ideal for the AE86. The 1ZZGE for turbo, the 2ZZGE for NA. I don't know of anyone in America or Canada doing it, to its down to you Aussies, the Kiwis, or the Japanese.
Wasn't the 1GGTE a straight six? We never got it, so I don't know much of anything about it. Is it more compact than a 6/7MGE?
Oh, and I've seen pics of that 1UZFE Levin on Club4AG. At the time the pics were posted, the car just had a the drivetrain done, and it handles like a lead-tipped arrow. Anyone in Vic have any news on that car?

How does it handle like a lead tipped arrow ? been in the car have you Seamus ? Go back to that worshiping web site club4ag .
Where you chat about stuff done hundreds of times around the world . Living in the past there for sure .
The car was built as a cruiser , does 100 of kls a day . It's track times first time out where really not that bad for a daily driven / not race car .
The same person you are referring too has started on the 2zzge? new celica engine in a ae86 by now i think . It will be another first over here .
