mount the stereo in the glove box.
this way the car still looks original and deters theft.
a set of 6 1/2 splits in the rear parcel shelf and off you go.
if you dont want to put holes in the glove box for wires its easy enough to get one from a wreckers so u can use it and keep your original.
as for manuals search ebay,yahoo etc and find yourself an original toyota manual. others ok but these are the best solution.
side mirrors are your choice. bullet style mirrors always look good in my opinion(like off the old escort etc) and new ones can be found at most auto spares shot etc.
