Hi
I drive 90 model celica with 98 model 3SGE in it and I had exactly the same problem. It just got worst when I wash the engine then we find out it was the one of the spark plug lead now no hoping when u idle.
I didn't even put the original leads. Just put cheap ones to try to find out is that the problem or not I'm almost %100 sure that's what it is.
