MR. 2 Forums Junkie Location: Parramatta Registered: July 2002	Re: mr2 update for those intrested... dyno rsult Tue, 28 September 2004 04:01 ok to answer all your questions... my comp is 7.5:1 std gen 2 3sgte cams for the bottom end pick up. the boost is set to 20psi at the moment. the turbo dosnt make boost till 4500 rpm at 5200 shes at full boost.... the best thing about these turbos or any GT series turbos is when they hit boost they hit hard and spool to max boost extreamly quickly. its a slug till 4500 but boy does it move once its made boost. also if you dont run a reasonable amount of boost into these turbo's you will make stuff all power, and the the dyno curve is more flat if u look at the one i have put on its straight up. where as with lower boost say 15psi its dosnt really do that much its more flat slow increase of power.... on the dyno when it hits boost at 15psi its springs up a little... on 20psi its like its going to jump off the rollers. also this would depend on your comp ratio the high it is the less boost you would need to run. but gt series do respond better to more boost. also 300kw is alot of power and is very achivable but i do suggest building the motor to the best spec you can. also for this power i wouldnt use anything less then the gt30 with the rear of 0.82 for this output figure. hope this helps and good luck.
