18RG will just bolt in....will share same engine mounts and bellhousing, and I think you'll find it will provide a bit more power than the 130hp you quoted when worked. They are getting very tired now as they are quite old.

The other options would all require a variable degree of custom work to fit.
4AGE would also be easy but it may not have quite enough torque.

I personally wouldn't bother with an M series in a Celica - too long and far too heavy.

1UZ is a good option, and has been done. It would however require some serious work to make it happen.

I think you haven't considered the best option, a 1G of some description. I couldn't think of a better power up than a small light multivalve 6 cylinder.
