yeh i was beginning to think mhg too tho with head studs do u know if the 1g had studs to start with cos mine does? stud meaning hex head right? and one more question would you know the approx price for a composite mhg ? compared to the about $88 chg from ridgecrest?

If you are talking about the bolts that use a hex key to undo, no they are not studs they're bolts. Head studs are two part, there's the shaft that screws into the block and then a nut that screws down onto the top of the shaft. Of course there's also a washer but that's a given.
I really should be doing work instead of replying to this but I couldn't let a chance to use the word shaft go by.
