Jonny Mate I'm happy to pass my cams on for you.
Depending on how big a cam you want there are two ways they do it. The cheap option is just a basic regrind and your tappets will need thicker shims.
The expensive way (for BIG cams) is to get them welded up reground and hard faced. this way the base circle stays the same size as they add metal before they grind the new profile. Mind you your up for around $700 for this option !!!
