if I understand the question correctly.... that's SA for 1 face. if you want total 3d SA, that's 2x the above, + Pi.2.R1.T + Pi.2.R2.T where T is the thickness
edit: Just finished my coffee and realised what an O-ring looks like, thus my formula being useless (but I like the way it looks)
for an o-ring, it'll be (Pi.R1.2).(Pi.R2^2), where R1 is radius from centre of o-ring to middle of the rubber, and R2 is radius of the actual rubber piece.
