Hi,

No they're not. Mine was just replaced a few weeks ago. The pitman was worn and getting dangerous, and, when it goes completely, you'll be outta control. I got new tie-rods, idler and pitman in the old girl and she steers beautifully now. You will need to buy a pitman arm, and better get yourself a new idler also.
