Mon, 04 October 2004 05:37 The low current starting connection to the solenoind may be contacting a positive voltage source, most likely the postive terminal on the solenoid which is connected to the battery. If this occurs the solenoid activates, pushing the starter pinion into the flywheel ringgear and energising the starter motor. This could be the cause of the symptoms you describe, but like any problem the answer is outside under the the bonnent of your car! Go and have a look... [Report message to a moderator]
