LTX-8, for those confising it with an mtx.

Also, i was only under the impression that i needed a new one due to TRG Automotive (a well respected workshop in this area) advising me so. They said thats the reason im not getting cold starts.. and yes it has an idle problem when warm, like cant decide what revs to sit at, but will still stay alive, unlike when cold.

So as follows, i booked it in for a service/dyno tune/cold start fixing. When i picked it up they told me that the reason for cold start was the idle up motor. I spoke to the mechanic and he clearly specified that the way to fix this problem was to replace this part. As there is a cold start injector not connected, i orginally assumed they might need to connect this for my cold start, but after speaking to him he said that this was only used on the standard ecu. Furthermore it is stated on the printout of what the problems are, that this idle up motor is broken.

So what do i do? Can someone please clarify if this is true "from what i know the idle motor doesnt work on ltx8's"?? And if so what costs am i looking at for 3SGE throttle body + what ever else i need to fix this little problem of mine. Thanks, Chris.
