ok took it for another drive today, checked the temprature of the oil lines going to the cooler and there both cold! so it sounds to me like the oil valve isn't opening to let oil into the cooler.

TD42T your very on the ball with what you said, that valve isn't opening up, is it a spring type pressure valve?

ed your right, those oil lines to the cooler are way to small to work effectivly. No point upgrading the actual cooler itself like alot of other 7mgte owners are doing, as it doesn't get enough flow to begin with. Confused


Indian, the 1g-gte is a a tubo motor, so it should have an oil cooler, but that is just a guess, check for a mini radiator at the front somewhere and see if it has oil lines going back to the sump/oil filter area.
