Classique71 Forums Junkie Location: Colac, Victoria Registered: May 2002	Re: Gt4 turbo clocking Wed, 06 October 2004 08:25 nods - saw the pics and using the slimline thermo as well - looking at this stage to do a 2 inch 45ish off the turbo as there will be room , then a more diagnal rout to the drivers side then an increase to 2.5" 90 straight 90 to the cooler . from cooler its all 2.5" 90 straight up-90 past where the battery was , then 90-45 into a long straight to a 45-intake which at this stage will have to be reduced back to suit the intake rubber ( though i plan to increase this up to all 2.5 when money permits ) Reasoning - less ugly pipes over the motor piping from turbo will pass all hot/hotter things before it gets to the cooler , like dump pipe radiator core etc . there may be more piping but the " look " will be neater and in theory dso far its a heap less obstructive than having to run past the dump pipe / aircon setup to the intake . ive tried 2 jigs so far in 2 and 2.5 inch piping - and 2.5 inch piping fouls EVERYWHERE if i run past the dump pipe to the intake 2.5 inch piping doesnt foul once if i run from the battery side on the path to the intake. Ive also planned turbo clocking as a hindsight to my larger turbo UPGRADE - as this will sit further across and give even more clearance again once the adaptor plate + custom dump pipe is made up [Report message to a moderator]
