After all this the pump/mount etc is so long that you need lots of room under the car . Yes there have to be mounted under the car because the weap fuel and smell all the time Sad

. As for the weight of those unit , there maybe as much as three bosch units .

Current draw from the car i just relocated them in {yes the owner had to use ear plugs on long trips}, which had two was nearly 1Amp which is crazy compaired to the flow and pressure from them Crying or Very Sad

With a bosch pump which has 70-80psi , flow for 500-550hp for $175 from them direct why bother with these . There are for tractors as Steve suggested , or inefficient old school v8s .

That sounds totally different to my experience with these pumps. I had mine mounted in the boot, it had absolutely no fuel leakage and it was pretty bloody quiet. If you think the carter is noisy you should have a listen to a holley or my Bosch 044 eeekkkk!

Have nothing at all bad to say about the carter pumps!
