full comprehensive insurance for a sprinter is near impossible to get for anything resembling decent money.
I'm 27,with an average record,and have been quoted up to $4500 a year to cover a bog stock ae86.
third party covers you if you hit someone else only,but this is quite good to have up your sleeve these days-for the time when a knob in a merc backs out of his driveway without looking,and you go up his butt...
fire and theft policies are no longer available in NSW,which pisses me off,as theft is more of a concern for me than an accident.
most of the toyotas on this group would be hard to insure,being as old as the majority are,with the level of mods,and the number of young drivers in the group.
has the club ever looked into some form of member insurance?
cutting a deal with a couple of brokers to cover club cars?
might be worth looking into...
