Current draw from the car i just relocated them in {yes the owner had to use ear plugs on long trips}, which had two was nearly 1Amp which is crazy compaired to the flow and pressure from them Crying or Very Sad

With a bosch pump which has 70-80psi , flow for 500-550hp for $175 from them direct why bother with these . There are for tractors as Steve suggested , or inefficient old school v8s .

That sounds totally different to my experience with these pumps. I had mine mounted in the boot, it had absolutely no fuel leakage and it was pretty bloody quiet. If you think the carter is noisy you should have a listen to a holley or my Bosch 044 eeekkkk!

Have nothing at all bad to say about the carter pumps!

ive been using one of these carter pumps as well and they are top notch, for old skool carb applications they actually recommend that you dont use a reg as they are self regulating at the correct pressure (about 3.5psi)

the holleys are about 5 times louder than the carter pumps as well

not sure why people are slagging them off, i have heard nothing but good things about them!
