Thanks for the info guys...sounds like its one of those modules that either works or it just doesnt in which case, the car would not run (or run sick as a dog) mine runs fine after starting so im going to look towards a fuel related problem.

Yeah, toyota only supply a elec. diagram of the unit, no way for even toyota techies to test it, manual just says 'no IGF or IGT signal - Replace igniter' hehe
