Ok open up your hood and near the wiper motor you'll find the diagnotics block, find a paper clip or a bit of wire and short pins e1 and te1. Now go switch your ignition on (don't start the car)

look at your engine light (on the dash)
If there is an error code the engine light will flash the code(s) out. The way to read the flashes/blinks is like this.

blink..blink....blink..blink..blink = error code 23

the first lot of flashed are the first digit, then there is a slight puase for the next digit.

you might get more then 1 error code, and then it will repeat from the beginning.

Post the results.

by the way if the engine light flashes continually without puases
eg. blink..blink..blink..blink..blink..blink..
It means your ECU has no error codes stored.
