If I choose the "live with it" option (due to lack of funds, and the fact that it probably won't be in the car for more than a few months - and that's only with some weekend driving), is it likely to blow up or do anything severe like that?
I suppose my main concern is driving out to Willowbank this weekend and have it detonate on me halfway there, or halfway back...
I can live with the noise (hoorah for ear plugs), and I can live with accelerated wear since it won't be in the car for long, but if it blows up and sends the car spearing off into the scenery or something tragic like that, then no, I can't live with that...
