u need bit more patient when bleeding mr2s, try it once more this time spend a bit of time on it, much cheaper then doin the headgasket

there should be more then one bleeding valve, with my car i have 1 at radiator, 1 at heater tap, and 1 near the thermostat housing. where u fill must be at highest point so i jacked the car at the back up. turn heater to hot and fan on (important). then start the car and start filling coolant

coolant will start coming out of the lowest bleed valve first, so radiator, then heater tap then thermostat housing. when u see constant coolant running out of the radiator bleed valve, its done so close it, do same when u get constant coolant flow out of the other valves, then close it. to be safe + i had time i left it bled over an hr to make sure. ur heater must blow hot air aswell otherwise its not bled properly

when u install the thermostat, make sure the little hole is at higher point aswell for better bleeding purposes
