Mon, 11 October 2004 14:45 I can't figure it out either... my mechanic has done all of the above when he first put the gear into the car and what-not, only thing I could think of is either blown HG or warped head, but not after 6 weeks back on the road with very soft treatment (ok, occasional boosting here and there, but nothing serious). Had a pressure test done on the radiator and while it was running it sucked the coolant down as was being filled gradually. The guys at BEL Garage (who did the test) reckon there's something up with the head gasket or the head. My thermostat functions as normal and the radiator is WAY higher than the level of the engine. It really has got me stumped. [Report message to a moderator]
