Hmmmm depends what ur after....
They got a bit of potential from a few mods...
I had a stock st162 but wanted something with a bit more balanced power response, extractors and exhaust are pretty decent NA mods... I think the stocky piping is 1.75" or 2", a increase to 2.25" would help a bit, lower down and it will rev cleaner.
The st162 has a fair decent amount of power stock so i'd be concentrating more on suspension and brakes... I have put king springs firmer rate spring, which have a nice amount of movement in the suspension, mistake with lowering cars is the fact that people try and lower their car in hope to stop bodyroll, the springs shouldn't have to stop bodyroll, its in the duty of the sway bar in which body movement is controlled.
Even on dead springs and shocks the rear sway bar will reduce body roll by a fair bit...
I'm pretty happy with performance at the moment after doin a k&n panel filter which helped a tiny bit but got it due to the fact that its reusable and helps the engine breathe a bit better...
Next thing on my list is gonna be to fix up the stereo and make her into a bit more of a cruiser for the summer, eg.. tinted windows, upgrade brakes.....
They do alright with a few mods
Later on the track she'll receive the exhaust, extractors and eventually a nice set of cams....
