Dead right!! Even fitting just before the throttle body didn't make any significant difference in my case. The real benefits were made when it was plumbed in as close to the compressor housing as possible Hence my conclusion for my particular situation was that it was the length of the line that made the biggest difference (the shorter the better). Many factory setups have the wastegate actuator line plumbed into the compressor housing itself, for a very short line. Some people like a big boost spike for some oomph between gears (I am not one of them) each to their own though. [Updated on: Wed, 13 October 2004 23:49] [Report message to a moderator]
