Err I wouldn’t use steam cleaner...it can be hazarders to thing if u don't know ...like my damn id plate on my Soarer...It wiped half the writing.....Just use some degreaser first...spray the degreaser let it sit a bit and then wash it with a normal hose…take care to try stay away from electrical parts if you can…otherwise you can use a plastic bag to cover any bits you might think need to be protected. Although most connectors and things are waterproof this is just to be safe. When its clean you can use ordinary car polish for the side of the engine bay and some elbow grease…if the paint is faded use something to cut it back with...plenty of products for that...that’s the way I would do it…and in the end it looks good as new... Very Happy
