How do you diagnose a stuffed water pump?
I'm experiencing Very similar problems. I just filled it with coolant only the day before yesterday and sure enough last night. It was up overheating again. The radiator cap is never hot though, I don't understand that point. So as always I release the cap a little while water and steam exit the overflow tube and into the bottle.
I have also replaced the Thermostat just recently to a new one.
My fan does squeek alot lately. Although tension seems fine.
How can a crack in the block be found easily? I fear this may be the case as i found coolant at the rear of the block just recently. But it may be explainable has to how it got there. (heating pipes detatchment)
A big thanks to anyone who is able to help me. The cooling system has given me nothing but trouble for a long time now.
