the CT12's have a unique bolt/flange pattern - even the CT12A is different.

if you want an alternative turbo, you'll have to mod your existing manifold (why bother?) or fab a new one to suit your desired turbo.

to retain your current manifold setup requires using the CT12's exhaust housing - and if you don't want mod the intake piping then it's pretty much CT12s all the way.

popular position seems to be that you treat them as disposable - either replace when fubared or get new manifold and turbo.
