If you want a reliable daily driver forget the whole idea, if you want a long project and more power you can try it.
You could base the whole lot on a 4AGZE. Almost the same capacity, probably a similar VE (I'm guessing there) and at least it'd give you somewhere to start. Machine up pulleys in the right size ratio and try and fit all the stuff.
But then there are the problems of making an intake, sorting the fuel system, intercooling, etc, etc, etc. There's a guy on here who knows alot about E series and Paseos called 10sec_rx7 or something similar I think.
My advice, go 4EFTE, or if you don't want to lose any capacity do a 5EFTE hybrid.
