from what I have been told in the past, adding NO2 increases the speed the turbines have to spin at greatly and the faster they spin the more heat they produce. I was highly recommended not to use it with standard turbos on my 1jz-gte. Although, my turbos have ceramic rear wheels and I think 1g's have steel wheels.
