what ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ said, also check fuses under the dash far right (above accelerator)

also ensure that they are connected to the relevant connections:
- oil light ends up connecting to motor oil sensor switch which is located just above the mechanical fuel pump (if you are looking at carby from driver side, the fuel pump is just under it to the right (cant miss it really) and the oil sensor switch is just above it a bit to the right a little)
- bat light is connect to alternator (unfortunately not sure which wire so all i can suggest is to look and make sure the wires are connected and not loose

with the dash lights its most likely that you dimmed them with out realising as it always happens when someone drives my car and doesnt know bout it

also to help you out a bit more, if you want i got a complete manual for the TA22, now iv said this to others and ill say it to you 'im not going to scan the whole thing, but if there is something your after let me know and ill scan it and email it to you'
