v8 to manual conversion?

Curious if anyone has seen a toyota 48 put to a manual trans other than the millen car (the is430). Im interested in using a 1uz for a upcoming project but i'd want to put a manual transmission behind it. I heard you can use the flywheel from a 3.0 toyota truck with a 5speed, possibly that whole tranny. just wondering if anyone knew anything?
