Tue, 19 October 2004 04:35 i have done exactly what your asking about fade. get retratables from superchap auto for the equivilant age corolla i think mine were late 70's to early 80's. the only trick is you have to retain the original hanger from the ceiling otherwise they cut into your neck. all you do is unwind the whole thing .... unclip the belt from the retractor .... feed it thru the hand and clip back into the retractor. now the tricky thing is you have to hold the retractor the whole time otherwise getting the right tension is a biatch afterwards. lemmme know coz i can take picks... i got all this week off if you wanna check em out also.
