They have an ECU marked A/T for auto, and if you were to ever find a manual MX83 it would be marked M/T. In that respect, there are 'separate' (ie different) controllers for auto and manual transmission versions of the 7M motors. However, the engine and auto transmission are both controlled by the same computer. [Report message to a moderator]
