ok, so second question, everyone who is doing this swap/conversion.. using stand alone computers? or is there a yota v8 that i could use a stock ecu. See, im in the usa, and to my knowledge the only way i could get a deal on the v8 and make it worth it monetarily is to pull one from a lexus ls400 (toyota celsior) that has been wrecked. and im pretty sure without the auto tranny the computer wont start the car. I had assumed I would have to use an aftermarket ecu, but i figure'd i'd ask. I know Trust makes a kit to use the e-manage. any info still greatly appreciated.
