ok, so second question, everyone who is doing this swap/conversion.. using stand alone computers? or is there a yota v8 that i could use a stock ecu. See, im in the usa, and to my knowledge the only way i could get a deal on the v8 and make it worth it monetarily is to pull one from a lexus ls400 (toyota celsior) that has been wrecked. and im pretty sure without the auto tranny the computer wont start the car. I had assumed I would have to use an aftermarket ecu, but i figure'd i'd ask. I know Trust makes a kit to use the e-manage. any info still greatly appreciated.

Its quite easy all you have to do is put 12v to the neutral safty switch and the ecu will think its in neutral and rev away... Despite popular belief this does not put the engine into limp mode
