2T-G's have a wet sump, as do pretty much all production cars. The only dry sump production engine I can think of is the old 6.9L Merc V8 from the 70's.

Anyway, most old Toyota engines suffer from oil surge and the 2T-G is no exception. Pretty much any form of baffling will be an improvement, but yeah talk to YelloRolla for specifics.
