I saw a young bloke brought into my work 2 years ago who was a passenger of a mirage. It was ripped apart after the P-plate driver could not negotiate a corner at speed near homebush. The irony is, the kid that died was 17, and his mother left Yugoslavia 2 yrs prior to that with her son because it was too dangerous there, and wanted her son to grow up in a safe country. It is not horsepower that kills, it is stupidity, bravado and lack of skills. PS: the driver got away with just some scratches and minor bruising.
