Fri, 18 October 2002 02:35 thanks guys, when warm it idles nicely at around 850rpm maybe 900 it has extractors and the guy who owned it b4 me said that the sensor for that is at the point where the 4 pipes come into one and wasnt sure if that was the correct spot for it, i actually took the car down to that EFI guy i mentioned this morning and he's pretty sure that its what norbie said, the thingy under the efi gear that has a thing in it that opens and closes, which when cold should be fully open and closed when warm, he was pretty sure i would find that this is jammed and just needs a good lube, but it makes sense that your suggestions could also be correct that being the sensor or connection itself. (sorry for the lack of correct terms, not sure what some of these bits are called) cheers Matt. either of you guys in sydney? would you be interested in coming around to help a little with the investigation/repair for a carton of beer or something sometime???
