Mon, 25 October 2004 04:46 Yeah i thought they were to control end float, and was pretty sure it had something to do with me f$&king the clutch up, geez youve got a good memory GT. My clutch disengagement problems were due to leaky master cylinder and bad push rod/fork adjustment, which i fixed and works fine now. The damage would have occured when i put my clutch plate in the wrong way around. Although the engine never actually ran in this state, just the turning over of the engine before i realised there was a problem probably damaged the now munted washer. In the meantime ive driven over 1000km's and had the car dyno tuned, those 1000km's werent granny driving either. I think i should rename the thread: Alarming contents found in my sump!! - 1JZ is the toughest motor EVAH!!!!!!!! Stewart: They were all sitting in the sump. I assume the munted one broke and fell then the good one dropped out with all the float! bbaacchhyy: Ill pull the motor out. Cant imagine doing anything from underneath, being a 4WD it's difficult with the front diff in the way etc. Oh yeah no warranty claim, its my own friggin fault!!
