I don't really know your engine but is it a two piece sump. Like the top piece goes for the whole length of the engine and then there is the small bit underneath that? are you trying to get the whole thing off or just the little section?
they usually have some sort of silicone type stuff holding them on. I had to pry mine off with a screwdriver but if the problem is that there is too much stuff in the way then I have no answers sorry except move the stuff
