Mon, 25 October 2004 15:12 My car was doing similar things, make sure all the wiring connections are clean, and the battery terminals are clean too. My cressys just ticked over 304,000 and still starting no problem, with original plunger and contacts, it was stripped at 295,000 and regreased, bit of emry on the contacts, never been a problem since.
